FAQ:

Do we need to bring our own supplies?

We provide you with a glass vase for your bouquet, water, and a pair of scissors. You are also welcome to bring your own vase. We happily accept vase donations too! We have a strict no bucket policy.

Does cutting flowers harm the plant?

cutting plants & Flowers actually signals to the plant to send up new shoots and blooms. You are NoT hurting the plant.

Will there be bugs?

We are in NATURE so you shOuld expect bugs, bees, butterflies, heat and grass. However, don’t let that deter you!

What should I wear?

Prepare for your comfort (sunglasses, sunscreen, hats, appropriate shoes)

Are there places to sit? Can I have a picnic?

We have picnic tables available for you To sit and arrange flowers or have a picnic! Note: Only one of these areas has partial shade so bring your sunscreen! If high heat is impacting your visit please contact us and we will bring you cold water bottles.

Can I bring my dog?

At this time we do not allow dogs due to liability concerns. Certified Service dogs are welcome.

Is the garden wheelchair accessible?

There are no steps and the gravel parking lot is less than 100 feet away from the garden. The main garden is on a fairly flat grassy area. While we cannot guarantee ANYTHING, If the wheelchair can roll on a flat grass area it should be fine :)

How much does everything cost?

We run on solely on donations, however we have no expectation of any payment. Our main priority is for you to enjoy the farm! We accept payments via: cash, Venmo, Zelle, and CashApp

What is the difference between U-Pick and getting flowers from a flower shop?

U-pick is an activity That you can do To enjoy our BEAUTIFUL farm. You will be picking your own flowers and then arranging it however you would like.

Why should I do U-Pick instead of just buying flowers?

Being creative is FUn! Most of all, being with friends, family, or even by yourself with nature is a beautiful feeling. There’s no right or wrong way to make a bouquet- so let loose!

Can I buy flowers for an event?

We are unable to provide large quantities of flowers for eventS.

Can I buy a pre-arranged bouquet?

If you need a bouquet Asap and don’t want to make it yourself we are happy to arrangE one for you to pick up. We can only offer one (1) pre-arranged bouquet Per Request. Requests Are subject to approval due to Flower AVAILABILITY, Time, and nature of request.

Can I also see your farm animals during a U-Pick visit?

You are welcome to visit the goats, ducks, and geese across from the flower garden. Please do not feed them anything we haven’t approved. Please do not pet the geese and do not climb in the pen, we are not RESPONSIBLE for any injuries FRom breaking these rules. If you’d like to visit more animals (llamas, horses, chickens, etc) please reach out and specifically request this.
